Edward Pleasant

Edward Pleasant, baritone, is recognized as one of the most versatile performers of his generation. Critically acclaimed in both opera, musical theater and recordings, he has distinguished himself as a gifted actor with brilliant comic timing and a luscious baritone voice. Pleasant champions the proliferation of the artistic contributions of early 20th century African-American writers, singers and composers, through live performances and recordings, propelling their works into the 21st century for the education and enjoyment of today's global audience. He appears on no less than a dozen recordings and operatic compilations.

Joan Marie Peitscher

American mezzo soprano, Joan Marie Peitscher, is winning audiences with her captivating rich, colorful and beautiful sound. She has been hailed for her “rich sound and moving performances” in theaters and concert halls across the world. Most recently, she was recognized for developing the role of Anne D’Autriche (Queen of France) in the world premiere of the opera Les Trois Mousquatairesat the Phoenicia Festival of the Voice in NY.

Wesley Lawrence

Tenor Wesley Lawrence has sung both oratorio and opera throughout America and Europe. Some highlights include Rodolfo in Puccini's La Bohème in Lucca, Italy, the solos in Dubois' Seven Last Words of Christ in Salzburg, Vienna, and the States, and in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with the Asheville Symphony Orchestra in Asheville, NC. Other roles include Eisenstein in J. Strauss' Die Fledermaus, Giovannis in Catán's La Hija di Rappaccini, and the tenor solos in Mendelssohn's Elijah, Haydn's Creation, Mozart's Requiem, Stravinsky's Les Noces, Penderecki's Credo, Rossini's Petite Messe Solennele, and others.

Elizabeth Baldwin

American lyric soprano Elizabeth Baldwin has been praised as being "ferociously talented" by the San Francisco Examiner and "mesmerizingly vulnerable" by the New York Times. Upcoming engagements include her title role debut as Puccini's Suor Angelica with Opera Project Columbus, a debut recital with the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Texoma Conference, Handel's Messiah with the Erie Philharmonic Orchestra, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth with Empire Opera in NYC, and title role and company debut of Norma with the Ópera Nacional de Chile in Santiago.
